Terms of service

The terms of your subscription, in plain English.

How plans, billing, changes, credits, delivery and allergens work when you eat with Suppa in Plymouth.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

Suppa (“we”, “us”) runs a weekly meal subscription in Plymouth. Meals are cooked by our restaurant partners and delivered by our drivers on fixed routes. These terms apply when you create an account, buy a plan, buy credits or receive a delivery from us. By using the service you agree to them.

Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other law that cannot be excluded. If a term here is found to be unenforceable, the rest still apply.

2. Your account

You must be 18 or over to hold an account. Keep your password private and tell us through the in-app support chat if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for what happens under your account until you do.

You may add other people in your household as members. You are responsible for the accuracy of their nutrition and allergen details and for any meals ordered for them.

3. Plans, menus and what you get

A plan is a fixed number of meals a week delivered on the nights you choose. The kitchen publishes each menu ahead of the dates it covers, and a menu may change if an ingredient is unavailable; where a dish has to be replaced we choose the closest match on that day’s menu that fits your profile and tell you.

Each meal is portioned to the calorie tier and targets you set. Portion tuning is best effort within the ranges each recipe allows, and the macros shown are calculated from the recipe, not laboratory measured. They are a guide, not medical advice.

Breakfasts, lunches, desserts, premium dishes and extra meals are optional add-ons, paid by card or with credits at the prices shown before you add them.

4. Billing

Plans are billed weekly in advance by card through Stripe, our payment provider. We do not see or store your full card number. Your weekly charge is the plan price shown when you subscribe, including delivery on your route. We will tell you at least a week before any price change takes effect, and you can cancel before it does.

New subscribers get their first meals free under the launch offer: the first week on 3 meals a week, or the first 3 meals on 5 or 7 meals a week. Your first weekly payment is then taken on the morning of your 4th delivery. The full rules are in the launch offer terms below.

If a payment fails we retry it and tell you. Deliveries pause until a payment succeeds. Credit purchases are paid in full at checkout. Receipts and invoices are in your account at any time.

5. Launch offer

These terms apply to the Plymouth launch offer while it is running. They sit alongside the rest of these terms, and where the two differ for the free meals, this section applies.

  • Spaces. There are 100 free spaces in total. The live count of spaces left is shown on this site and in the Suppa app, and it goes down by one for each person in a household when that household signs up. Spaces are given in the order households sign up.
  • Who qualifies. Households that sign up for a plan before launch day, Monday, 9 November 2026, while spaces are left. After launch, first-time subscribers still get the offer while it is switched on.
  • One space covers one person. A household takes one space for each person in it. We count this from the household size you give at sign-up, or the people actually in your household, whichever is more. The offer is available once per customer and once per household. A household that has already had it cannot claim it again with a new account.
  • 3 meals a week plan: your first week is free. That is your first 3 meals.
  • 5 or 7 meals a week plans: your first 3 meals are free.
  • Your first weekly payment is taken on the morning (06:00 UK time) of your 4th delivery. If you pause or skip a day, that date moves with your deliveries, so your 3 free meals are always 3 meals actually delivered.
  • Nobody is charged before launch day, with or without the offer.
  • Stripe takes your card details securely when you sign up. Cancel from your account before your first payment and you pay nothing.
  • Changing plan during your free meals keeps the same rule: your first 3 meals are free and your first payment is taken on the morning of your 4th delivery, at the price of the plan you are on then.
  • Households qualify. After you sign up, get everyone in your household to download the Suppa app and sign in with their own login to activate your subscription. You invite them from the Household screen in your account, and each person joins your household from their own login.
  • Once all the spaces have gone, you can still sign up before launch and pay nothing until launch day, but you will not get the free meals.
  • The free meals have no cash value and cannot be swapped for credits, transferred or exchanged.

6. Changing, skipping, pausing and cancelling

  • You can change a day's meals, add or remove add-ons, or skip a day until 4:30pm on that day (the daily cutoff). After the cutoff the day is locked and cannot be changed or refunded.
  • Skipping a day before its cutoff bills as normal and grants you one credit for that day. Adding a delivery night is subject to your plan's number of nights.
  • You can change plan, change your delivery nights, pause for a period you choose, or cancel at any time from your account. Changes apply from the next day or week that has not yet locked.
  • Cancelling stops future weekly charges. Days already paid for and not yet locked can still be skipped for credits before their cutoff.

7. Credits

Credits are the one currency in your account. One credit buys one upgrade, premium dish, dessert, breakfast or lunch add-on, or an extra meal on another night. You earn credits for skipping a day before its cutoff, for each paid week on a plan, for a friend you refer who completes a paid week, and when we have to let you down (a failed delivery, a dispute decided in your favour).

Credits can also be bought at the price shown in your account. Credits expire 90 days after they are granted, have no cash value, cannot be transferred and are not refunded if you cancel. Purchased credits that are unused when you cancel are refunded to your card on request.

8. Gifts

You can buy a gift without an account. The price is set by the plan and number of weeks you choose, and you pay it once by card. We email you a gift code when the payment goes through.

Whoever redeems the code in their account gets its full value as account balance, which pays their next subscription invoices automatically until it runs out. A code can be redeemed once, has no cash value and cannot be swapped for credits. If a code hasn't been redeemed, the buyer can ask us in the app for a refund to the card that paid for it. Once it has been redeemed it can't be refunded.

9. Delivery

We deliver to the postcode districts listed on our coverage page between 5pm and 9pm. The app shows a delivery window and a live estimate; both are estimates and can move with traffic and the day’s route. Meals for the day arrive together in one package.

Provide a safe place to leave the package and any access details. If nobody is in and there is no safe place, the driver will try to reach you through the app, then follow your instructions or return the package to the kitchen. A failed delivery caused by missing access details is not refunded. A failed delivery caused by us is credited in full.

Meals are delivered hot or chilled as labelled. Eat or refrigerate them promptly and follow the reheating guidance on the label.

10. Allergens and dietary needs

Declare your allergens and the way you eat in your account. We check every meal against them before it is assigned and print the allergens on every label. Meals are prepared in shared restaurant kitchens that handle common allergens, including gluten, dairy, nuts and shellfish. Always check the ingredients listed for your meal if you have an allergy.

If you have a severe allergy, please read every label before eating. We cannot guarantee any meal is free of a given allergen.

11. When something goes wrong

Report a missing, damaged, late or wrong meal from your account within 24 hours of the delivery window, with a photo where you can. We aim to decide within minutes and will credit, replace or escalate the issue, and tell you what we decided and why. Where the law gives you a refund instead, you get a refund.

Our liability for a given delivery is limited to the price you paid for it, except where the law does not allow us to limit it (for example death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or faulty products).

12. Reviews and content

You can rate meals and leave reviews. Public reviews are moderated before they appear and may be declined if they contain personal data, abuse or claims we cannot verify. By posting a review you allow us to show it on our site and apps with the display name you choose, and you can ask us to remove it at any time.

13. Changes to the service and these terms

We may change menus, coverage, delivery windows, prices and these terms. For changes that affect what you pay or how you can cancel we give you at least a week’s notice by email, and you can cancel before they take effect.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting your right to bring a claim where you live.

Questions about these terms go through the in-app support chat, or the feedback widget on this site if you do not have an account.
